This is my all time favorite movie,I’m in love with J.T. Langston, he has such a sweet innocent look about him. what a cute little cowboy. dont you wanna just pick him up and give him lots of kisses. i know i do (lol) he’s so adorable.

Let’s not forget the love story between Shane and the boys mother.That was just hinted at only,but it was there.There are a lot more dynamics going on here than Shane having to go back to who he was.Shane envied the boys Father,and yet he despised him at the same time for being the way he was. There’s a lot more,my friend.

Happy New Year Jay and Margot. DeAnn and I saw True Grit 2010 Saturday night after anxiously waiting its release. I agree with your synopsis of the movie. It was the best western movie I have seen in recent years and much better than the original True Grit. What a great bunch of characters in the movie! I have not read the book but plan to do so soon. The only thing I would add to your blog would be to mention how great the soundtract was, especially the closing song “Leaning On The Everlasting Arms (True Grit version)” by Iris DeMent. I am not ashamed to say the song gave me goose bumps….cousin Rick.

I saw this movie in 1972, and now, it’s coming to the end of 2010. This is one of the most violent movies that I have ever seen………how JJ took out the Indians one by one…………….

Hello everyone, i was wondering if somone could help me find out the name of an old western movie i vaugely remember watching as a child. From what i can remember from the storyline, a baby is found after an attack by indians by 3 men who take care of it, two of the men die somewhere along the line and thats about all i can remember…
